Ever since we found out about the charm competition at next year’s Norfolk County Fair, we’ve been trying our best to convince Zooey Deschanel to enter (apparently the actress is not a fan of singing telegrams). All she would have to do to win the grand prize (which just so happens to be a life-time supply of Lucky Charms) is bat her doe eyes once for the judges, sing a verse from one of the many country-tinged ditties she performs as one half of the indie-rock duo She & Him and recite a single line of quirky dialogue as the heartbreaker from (500) Days of Summer, a film that received a Golden Globes Award nomination for Best Motion Picture. Please consider it, Zooey. We’ll provide the milk.
