There is perhaps no cultural event more eagerly awaited than Esquire magazine's annual naming of their Sexiest Woman Alive. So last year, when the esteemed magazine awarded the title to Minka Kelly -- who's clearly hot, but not sexiest-woman-alive hot -- we were stumped. Kelly, who's best known for her three-year role as the all-American Lyla Garrity in the underrated series Friday Night Lights and as first lady of Yankee Nation (she's dating Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter), doesn't quite hold a candle to former winners Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and -- well, you get the idea. But that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t still gladly run through a defensive line just for a chance to smell her hair.
