THE ROONEYS: Kai celebrated his seventh birthday on Wednesday

Coleen shared a cute snap of birthday boy Kai – who turned seven today – hugging his little brother.

Next to him, a neon light box wishes him a happy "birhtday".

But the youngster didn't let the mistake get in the way of a good time and could be seen grinning ear-to-ear.

His proud mum posted the picture on Twitter, writing: "Our Big boy is 7 Today!!! Happy Birthday Kai, we love you xx."

England and Man Utd captain retweeted the snap – seemingly unaware of the embarrassing mishap.

But several were quick to point out the error on Twitter.

Some pointed out that his football cake, with blue and white candles, hinted at the youngster’s future career.

But if last year's birthday is anything to go by, he might be a golf man.

Coleen and Roo treated him to his own golf course for his sixth birthday party.

The family might be leaving UK soil in Beckham-style soon.
