He could soon be back playing in World Cup qualifiers alongside Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale.

He was capped 13 times, scoring once, and was tipped for stardom.

Evans spent two and a half years in jail following his wrongful rape conviction and was found not guilty at a retrial last month
