New faces on show as Carlisle open campaign

Carlisle will parade a new-look team against Crawley with 11 recruits coming in over the summer.
Jack Iredale, Jon Mellish, Christie Elliott, Harry McKirdy, Jack Bridge, Byron Webster, Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Nathan Thomas all played in United’s final pre-season friendly against Ross County.
They have since been joined by three more new faces in the shape of defender Aaron Hayden, midfielder Canice Carroll and striker Olufela Olomola.
Forward Hallam Hope is battling to shake off a hamstring problem.
New Crawley striker Ashley Nadesan will miss out on a reunion with his former club.
The summer signing from Fleetwood suffered ankle ligament damage in pre-season.
Town will check on the fitness of Lewis Young, Joe McNerney and Beryly Lubala, who all sat out their last pre-season friendly against Portsmouth with minor knocks.
New recruits Mason Bloomfield, Nathan Ferguson and Jordan Tunnicliffe should be involved.
