TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY was another action-packed one with the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle completing deals.
The Magpies broke their transfer record for Miguel Almiron.
The Paraguay international has joined from MLS champions Atlanta United for £21million.
Almiron has penned a five-and-a-half year deal at St James’ Park.
Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez has joined Arsenal from Barcelona on loan until the end of the current campaign.
"We're happy that Denis Suarez is joining us. He is a player we know well and I have worked with him at Sevilla. He brings us quality and options in different attacking positions, so he'll be able to help the team," Arsenal manager Unai Emery said on the signing.
Another big moment on transfer deadline day saw Manchester United extend the contract of Anthony Martial.
He signed a new deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2024, after which the club have the option to extend the deal by a further year.
A late development saw Crystal Palace clinch a deal to sign Michy Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea.
The move was pushed through beyond the 11pm deadline after Palace submitted a deal sheet as Roy Hodgson boosted his options up top with the addition of the Belgian.

Perhaps the most unexpected move of the day saw Peter Crouch make a Premier League return with Burnley at the age of 38.
Clarets forward Sam Vokes moved in the opposite direction.
Former England international Crouch returns to the top flight, having played for six Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham in his career.
He has signed a short-term deal with Burnley until the end of the season, while Vokes has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Stoke.
Other deals included RB Leipzig completed the loan signing of Arsenal youngster Emile Smith-Rowe until the end of the season.

Wolves defender Jonny Otto has agreed a permanent deal at Molineux until 2023, having spent the first half of the season on loan from Atletico Madrid.
The fee is believed to be £18m for the 24-year-old, who has started 20 league games this season.
Manchester United have reached an agreement with Shandong Luneng for the transfer of Belgium midfielder Marouane Fellaini, but the deal could drag on with the transfer market in China open until February 28.
Midfielder Fellaini enjoyed regular game time under former United bosses David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho who used him as an auxiliary striker, but has been out of favour under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Cardiff have signed versatile midfielder Leandro Bacuna from Reading for an undisclosed fee.
And Newcastle have also signed left-back Antonio Barreca on loan from French Ligue 1 side Monaco until the end of the season with the option to buy.
"He has the attributes, he has the quality and he has the characteristics that we look for. Now we must see how quickly he can adapt," Benitez explained.
