Juan Mata is out of contract in the summer - and Arsenal are keen on landing him.

The Spaniard signed for Manchester United in January 2014 from Chelsea in a £37m deal.

But he could soon be on the way with the Gunners weighing up offering him a deal when his contract expires in the summer.

They ace competition from Euro rivals PSG, Barcelona and Juventus though.

And those sides could have an advantage as they can sign him to a pre-contract agreement now.

Sevilla want Anthony Martial

Manchester United are bracing themselves for Sevilla to launch a bid for Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has all-but committed his future to Manchester United and is expected to put pen to paper on a new deal in the near future.

But Martial is still attracting interest from Spain - and it is because of Chelsea star Alvaro Morata.

According to ESPN, Sevilla now want to sign the Manchester United attacker after Morata snubbed a move to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Nainggolan available

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are reportedly in the race for Inter Milan midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

According to journalist Carlo Pellegatti he has been informed Inter want to sell him to a Premier League team.

Pellegatti has close links to the Milan outfit and has revealed all on a reported call he received from his sources.

He suggests Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United will all be considering the midfielder.

"They called me, telling me that Inter wanted to sell him to the Premier [League],” Calciomercato report him saying.

"On him there would be Chelsea, Tottenham and United, the latter struggling with the injury occurred to Fellaini.”

Mikel joins Boro

Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has completed his move to Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.

The Nigerian international, who was a free agent after leaving Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda earlier this month, has signed a short-term contract after turning down a move to Crystal Palace and Serie A side Roma.

Boro’s rivals Derby and Aston Villa also enquired about the 31-year-old, who will wear the No. 2 shirt at the Riverside.

Mikel spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge, making nearly 400 appearances for the Blues.

And having won two titles and the Champions League at Chelsea, Boro boss Tony Pulis is hoping he’ll bring a winning mentality to Teesside.

"I’m pleased to get him,” said Pulis, who will allow club captain Grant Leadbitter join his former club Sunderland.

"He is a man with a lot of experience and quality.

"John wants to be part of what we are looking to achieve and has a winning mentality.”

Rodriguez future discussed

Arsenal target James Rodriguez’s foster father, Juan Carlos Restrepo, has hinted there may be offers on the table from the likes of Arsenal as the player considers his future.

Widespread reports suggest the likes of Arsenal have already enquired about the possibility of taking him on loan until the end of the season with the option to buy in the summer.

Restrepo has been discussing Rodriguez’s future and while he hopes a return to Los Blancos is on the cards, he’s hinted there may be offers from England with Tottenham also linked.

"He is comfortable in Munich," Restrepo told Marca.

"I don't have news about it, but there may be offers based on those rumours coming from England."He is calm and he feels that he's at a good level again and that he's physically strong.

"That gives us a perspective that he is happy, motivated and working well, as he is eager to achieve new success.

"Real Madrid are one of his loves, but unfortunately he had to look at a different course.

"Inside his heart, given that he is a fan of Real Madrid, he will contemplate the possibility of returning.

"Real Madrid own his rights and I imagine that if he has good performances then his return would be possible."

Solskjaer on Bailly

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is “not surprised” by Arsenal’s attempt to sign Eric Bailly.

Old Trafford chiefs snubbed an enquiry for their Premier League rivals to take the 24-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup tie against the Gunners, Solskjaer said: “I’m not surprised if they do, to put it that way but that’s just one of those things there’s always speculation.

Arsenal are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements with Hector Bellerin sidelined until the end of the season.

Perisic to Man Utd

Manchester United could sign Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic for €40m (£35m) this month.

Reports in Italy claim the Red Devils have renewed their interest in the Croatia star and have made contact with the club.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in acquiring his services.

Italian publication Corriere della Sera claim Inter would be willing to let him leave this month if they receive a £35m offer and have proposed this to the Red Devils.

However, other reports claim Inter would be interested in including Anthony Martial as part of any potential deal.

Suarez to Arsenal latest

Barcelona have not given up hope of offloading Denis Suarez to Arsenal, despite the Londoners' reluctance to agree to a permanent deal.

Arsenal are willing to pay a £1.7m fee to take the midfielder on loan for the rest of the season.

But Gunners boss Unai Emery does not want to shell out £17.5m to make the transfer permanent in the summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Barca director of football Eric Abidal is now awaiting a new offer from Arsenal.

He says the Catalan giants are still unwilling to agree to a loan deal despite Wednesday's surprise arrival of Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The Italian writer also hinted that Gunners' hesitancy to get the deal done could cost them Suarez’s signature.

Barcelona are now also in talks with Sevilla who are plotting to hijack the Gunners’ deal.
