Arnautovic discusses new contract
Marko Arnautovic has pledged his commitment to West Ham after signing a new contract.
"I’m happy for this and I want to say to the fans that I’m happy to stay, I glad to play again, show myself and score goals, to make assists, but also to say that the major point is Marko Arnautovic never refused [to play or train]. I would never refuse.
"I’m happy, I’m happy to come to this point.
"I’m happy that this club is improving. Step by step, every week, every month we are seeing some improvement and that’s good.”

Arnautovic signs new West Ham contract
Marko Arnautovic has signed a new contract at West Ham in an announcement just minutes after the Hammers crashed out of the FA Cup.
West Ham went down 4-2 at AFC Wimbledon tonight in one of the shocks of the round.
And after the game the Hammers released a statement, which said: ‘West Ham United is pleased to confirm that Marko Arnautovic has signed a contract extension.
‘The Austrian has reiterated his 100 per cent commitment to the Hammers after opting to put an end to speculation linking him with a move to China by extending his deal with the club.’

Hudson-Odoi to Bayern latest
Callum Hudson-Odoi has handed in a transfer request at Chelsea.
But how likely are Bayern Munich to get a deal done for the youngster this month?
Well, German newspaper Bild reckon there is a 70 per cent chance that Hudson-Odoi will be a Bayern player come February 1.
It is claimed the playmaker is now waiting for Chelsea’s reaction to the transfer request, in the hope they agree to sell.

UPDATE: Chelsea transfer request
Callum Hudson-Odoi has handed in a transfer request after a summit at Chelsea today.
Bayern Munich have bid £35m for teenager Hudson-Odoi but Chelsea are yet to accept the offer.
And the Sun claim the player has made a move to try and force through the deal before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
It is claimed discussions with Chelsea bosses on Saturday evening have resulted in Hudson-Odoi requesting to leave.

UPDATE: Liverpool done deal
Liverpool have signed French youngster Billy Koumetio from US Orleans.
ESPN claim the deal has been completed and the 16-year-old will head to the Reds academy.
Liverpool are yet to splash the cash in January as they target a first ever Premier League crown.
And manager Jurgen Klopp clearly sees Koumetio as one for the future, with the youngster all set to head to Melwood.

UPDATE: Tottenham move for Jonas Hofmann
Tottenham are in talks with Borussia Monchengladbach over a deal for Jonas Hofmann.
Bill claim the north London club are gunning for a deal this month.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is even ready to pay Hofmann a top wage at Spurs.
And discussions are tipped to continue into next week, with the transfer deadline coming on Thursday.

UPDATE: Tottenham make Eriksen decision
Tottenham are ready to increase the asking price of their star man Christian Eriksen - after hearing how much Barcelona are paying for Frenkie De Jong.
Barca have agreed a £65m deal for De Jong, who will move to the Nou Camp from Ajax at the end of the season.
And Spanish newspaper AS claim Spurs are ready to raise their valuation of Eriksen so that suitors Real Madrid pay the going rate.
Ideally the north London club would not sell Eriksen - but the Dane is yet to sign a new contract.

UPDATE: Messi intervention
Lionel Messi personally called Frenkie De Jong to aid the Dutchman’s transfer from Ajax to Barcelona.
De Jong has agreed a £65m move to Barca and will join them in the summer after a chat with Messi.
"Lionel Messi personally called Frenkie,” his father said.
“It was difficult because Messi does not speak English.”

UPDATE: Perisic wants Arsenal
Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic has handed in a transfer request - as Arsenal target the playmaker.
Perisic remained at Inter over the summer despite keen interest from Arsenal’s rivals Manchester United.
But with the Gunners ready to launch a move for the Croatia international, Perisic has requested to leave the San Siro in an attempt to get the deal done this month.
Calciomercato claim the 29-year-old has asked manager Luciano Spalletti for permission to speak to Arsenal.

UPDATE: Man Utd make their move
Manchester United want to beat Bayern Munich to PSV sensation Steven Bergwijn.
And the Red Devils have asked the Dutch club to let them know first if PSV decide to sell up.
Liverpool and Inter Milan have also been tracking Bergwijn but United are desperate to get the job done.
United had a scout watching his performance in the 2-2 draw against FC Emmen last weekend.
UPDATE: Chelsea deal off?
Atletico Madrid fans do not want their club to sign Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
Atletico and Chelsea have been in talks over a deal for Morata this month.
But fans in Madrid would prefer Borja Garces to get a chance up front for Atletico.
During their game with Getafe today, Atleti fans chanted: "Less Morata, more Borja Garces.”

UPDATE: Barcelona beat Liverpool
Barcelona have beaten fellow suitors Liverpool to the signing of Brazilian right-back Emerson.
But the move is complicated, with Marca claiming Real Betis and Barca have struck a joint deal to snap up the 20-year-old.
Emerson will join Betis but Barca have paid part of his transfer fee, in order to secure first refusal to any move in the future.
Liverpool reportedly had scouts watching Emerson over the past few months but a deal with Betis is now in place.
UPDATE: Leeds eye big deal
Leeds United want to sign Ivan Cavaleiro from Wolves.
That is according to Birmingham Live, who claim the West Yorkshire club could make an offer for Cavaleiro before the month is out.
Leeds are gunning for promotion this season and Cavaleiro, 25, has made just 16 appearances for Wolves this term.
He was part of their Premier League promotion campaign last season and the playmaker could be given the chance to play elsewhere if a suitable offer comes in.
