THAISA LEAL was swept off her feet by boyfriend and Peru captain Paolo Guerrero.

Well, that's what we're guessing after she described her man as a "hurricane".

Los Incas skipper Guerrero's World Cup dream looked to be over after he was slapped with a 14-month drugs ban in May this year.

But the country's all-time top scorer - who tested positive for cocaine - had it frozen by a Swiss court, meaning he will be in the finals.

And Thaisa, 25, posted a heartfelt message to her man - and her 475,000 Instagram followers - after a complex legal process finally gave him the all-clear to play.

She wrote: "It was not easy days and months, we went through a lot. We have to learn from situations we think are bad.

"You have discovered that you are stronger than you thought and spent more time together getting to know each other, taking care of each other and creating our story.

"I will always be there, in the first row, cheering, encouraging, shouting, laughing, crying, excited and praying for you and for all your goals to come true.

"We won a battle and we're going to win the war! Come on, captain!"

Peru will be in their first World Cup since 1982.

Guerrero, a striker for Brazilian side Flamengo, tested positive for a metabolite of cocaine at a World Cup qualifier against Argentina in October 2017.

That meant the 34-year-old missed his country's 2-0 two-legged play-off win over New Zealand as a result.

But Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris was one of several players who signed an open letter asking Fifa to allow Guerrero to play.

Now, after Swizterland's supreme court stepped in at the end of last month to freeze his ban, he is in and on his way to Russia, with glamorous Thaisa following him all the way.

The pair have been an item for just over a year, after reportedly getting together in March last year.
