The 24-year-old midfielder revealed he wants more game time after starting just 10 La Liga games this season.
The Croatian midfielder told reporters on Friday: "I believe I'll play more, whether in Real or somewhere else, now is the time for me to play.”
"Offers? I am under contract with Real and I wish not to comment on other clubs."

He joined Madrid in 2015 from Inter Milan.
He's won won three Champions League titles and a La Liga title with Los Blancos.
United are poised to swoop on the player who married model Izabel Andrijanic last summer.
They tied the knot last June in the Croatian village of Sesvetski, where they met and fell in love.
The couple, both 24, then exchanged their vows in St Antunas Church and continued their wedding celebrations at the Westin Hotel in the Croatian capital city of Zagreb.
Isabel, who runs a business selling baby products, is Kovacic’s biggest fan and was seen celebrating on the pitch after the Champions League win last month.
The model has a huge Instagram following of 323,000 and posts cute snaps of the couple on their travels and holidays.
Kovacic – who is nicknamed “Il Professore” (The Professor) – plays as a deep-lying playmaker for Real Madrid and his national team.
He previously played for Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb and Inter Milan before moving to Bernabeu.
