MANCHESTER UNITED ace Victor Lindelof was seen relaxing with a beer pool-side while on his honeymoon.

The Swedish defender, 23, married stunning partner Maja Nilsson Lindelof in the beautiful Swedish countryside last week, just days before heading to the World Cup.

Prior to his flight to Russia, the Swede star relaxed one last time with Maja as the newly-married man clutched a beer.

Lindelof also posted a snap of himself and his new wife in the car, simply captioned: "Wifey."

The former Benfica man proposed to his other half while away on holiday in the Maldives last June, weeks before joining United.

In his debut season at Old Trafford, Lindelof made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions and helped Jose Mourinho's side keep 13 clean sheets in that time.

The £30million defender then played in both legs of the play-off round as Sweden shocked four-time winners Italy.

A 1-0 aggregate win ensured Sweden's first appearance at the World Cup since 2006, where they reached the second round but were knocked out by hosts Germany.

The Swedes are now preparing for their Group F campaign as they go up against South Korea, Germany and Mexico.

However, they will do so without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose hints regarding a World Cup return turned out to be completely unfounded.
