LIVERPOOL new boy Fabinho enjoyed a giant pizza while on holiday in New York City with his wife.

The midfielder, who was signed for £44million last week, also took a trip to the Statue of Liberty alongside Rebeca Tavares.

Rebeca, who married Fabinho in 2015, posted the images to her Instagram page with the simple caption: "Love."
The midfielder joined the Reds from Monaco just after the heartbreaking Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

Fab will be fully rested for his first campaign at Anfield, having been snubbed by Brazil boss Tite in his World Cup squad.

The 24-year-old will not be expected back at Liverpool's Melwood training ground for pre-season until mid-July.

Liverpool travel to the US for pre-season, playing their first game against Borussia Dortmund on July 22 in North Carolina.

The squad will also play rivals Manchester United and Man City.

Liverpool face champions City on July 25 in New Jersey and United at the 107,000-seat 'Big House' in Michigan on July 28.

Speaking last week, Fabinho said: "I am really excited about this move.

"This is something that I always wanted - this is a giant of a team.

She also posted a video of the £44m star sipping champagne on a private jet

"Liverpool are in a league that is probably the best in the world, so there were many positive points for me to choose to come and I am very, very happy to be here."

Klopp added: "His reputation as a character in the dressing room and his attitude in training has come through from everyone we speak to.

"He has ability and mentality to play at the highest level in a number of positions. He can play 6, 8 or 2. This is cool."
