Dua Lipa Responds To Rumours That She Spent Night With Marco Asensio After Champions League Final

British singer Dua Lipa has responded to rumours surrounding the Real Madrid player Marco Asensio.

Lipa, who performed at the opening ceremony at the Champions League final with her recent hit single One Kiss, apparently spent the night with the 22-year-old in Kiev, according to CNN Turkey.

On Tuesday night, though, the London-born musician categorically denied the claims via her official Twitter account.

Spanish publication El Periódico reported that the pair had been seen together after Los Blancos' final win, but Lipa replied with a witty response:

"I haven't even met Marco Asensio" she said via Twitter. "and it is highly unlikely I ever will as my Liverpool supporting manager would never forgive me."

She then responded to a fan who asked: "Where do people get these rumors from though. who makes them up?"

I think we can officially say that the 22-year-old did not spend the night with Marco Asensio, as reported by a number of outlets in the past couple of days.

Real Madrid eventually lifted the Champions League trophy after a couple of blunders from Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.

Mohamed Salah's injury in the first half somewhat spoiled the party for many, but the majority enjoyed Dua Lipa's opening ceremony as Liverpool fans were filmed singing her hit song.
