Police investigate Karius death threats: I'll kill your girlfriend

Investigations have begun into death threats sent to Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius on social media after his catastrophic display against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The German goalkeeper apologised to fans after he gifted the ball to Karim Benzema the opening goal and then flapped Gareth Bale's shot into the back of the net for a third.
"I will murder your girl, I'm going to murder your girl," was one threat, as reported by The Telegraph.
"Your children deserve to die of cancer," read another.
"I hope all of your family die," was yet another.
Merseyside Police are now investigating the threats.
