Chesterfield vs Notts County - Chesterfield have Louis Reed back for Notts County clash
Posted Friday, March 23, 2018 by PA
Chesterfield will welcome back Louis Reed for their local derby against Notts County on Sunday.
Reed has served a two-match ban after picking up 10 yellow cards and should return to Jack Lester’s side.
Louis Dodds is hoping for a start after coming off the bench at Cheltenham last week following a calf complaint, while Ian Evatt (knee), Jordan Sinnott (ankle) and Robbie Weir (knee) remain on the comeback trail.
The Spireites could be nine points from safety by the time they kick-off at the Proact Stadium.
Notts County will be without Ben Hall for the short trip up the M1.
Hall is away on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s so Shaun Brisley is likely to come into boss Kevin Nolan’s side.
Nolan has no other concerns to contend with as he aims to keep County’s automatic promotion hunt on course.
The Magpies, who drew 1-1 in another derby with Mansfield last week, are three points behind third-placed Wycombe, who play on Saturday.
