Northampton Town vs Shrewsbury Town - Kevin van Veen in line to make first start in over month

Northampton striker Kevin van Veen is hoping to make his first start in over a month in the home game against Shrewsbury.
The Dutchman had been sidelined since early February with a knee injury before stepping off the bench for the final 20 minutes in Saturday’s home defeat to Rotherham.
Midfielder Matt Crooks sits out the second game of his three-match ban and forward Chris Long remains doubtful due to a back injury which kept him out at the weekend.
Recent signing Kevin Luckassen is expected to continue up front alongside Van Veen after making his first start for the club against Rotherham.
Shrewsbury midfielder Ben Godfrey is an injury doubt after being forced out of Saturday’s win at Scunthorpe.
Godfrey was withdrawn in the first half due to a hamstring strain and will be assessed.
James Bolton could return to contention following an ankle injury and fellow defender Max Lowe is hoping to feature after a hamstring problem.
Striker Stefan Payne is also pushing for a place in the starting line-up after stepping off the bench to score the winner at the weekend.
