Liverpool vs Watford - Henderson back in contention for Watford clash
Posted Saturday, March 17, 2018 by PA
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could make a return to the starting line-up for the visit of Watford.
The England international was on the bench for last weekend’s defeat at Manchester United but is likely to be brought back.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has to decide whether to retain Dejan Lovren in central defence, after his performance at Old Trafford came in for criticism, or replace him with Joel Matip.
Watford defender Craig Cathcart will be back in contention following a hip problem.
Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes could also return to the squad, having sat out last weekend’s defeat at Arsenal.
Midfielder Tom Cleverley (thigh) continues his rehabilitation, along with Gerard Deulofeu (foot), Nathaniel Chalobah (knee), Younes Kaboul (foot) and Isaac Success (knee).
