It had been rumoured but now it's official; James Rodriguez is already a Bayern Munich player.
The German club has taken the Colombian on loan for two seasons with an option to buy him from Real Madrid at the end of the period.
His purchase price in the summer of 2019 will be 60 million euros and the player will receive 6m euros per season in salary.
An agreement was almost closed two days ago and it was only on Tuesday morning when the transfer was formalised.
With Ancelotti
The Colombian is reunited with Carlo Ancelotti, the coach with whom James showed his best form at Real Madrid.
He was an express request of the Italian, who agreed to sell Douglas Costa to Juventus.
James wants to take on a role of importance for the Bavarians that Zinedine Zidane didn't give him and that he believes that is achievable under Ancelotti's tutelage.
The Italian has promsied him the minutes he has found hard to come by in the Spanish capital.
