Wallace Oliveira is heading back to Chelsea
The Brazilian was on loan at Gremio but they have allowed him to return to the UK a few days before the end of his loan agreement.
Oliveira has not impressed while back in his homeland and has been training with Gremio's reserves recently.
He hasn't made an appearance since the turn of the year and is heading back to Stamford Bridge.
Gremio are taking on Clube Atletico Paranaense in the Copa do Brasil tonight and Oliveira's release shows how far down the pecking order he was.
He was supposed to stay in Brazil until next Friday but it's not been a successful spell for the left-back.
And Sport Witness say they have information that the 23-year-old is returning this evening.
Wallace joined Chelsea from Fluminense in 2013 before being loaned back to the Brazilian side.
Wallace Oliveira struggled in Brazil
He then went on loan to Inter Milan, Vitesse, Capri and finally Gremio in 2016.
Where Oliveira goes next is unclear at the moment.
However, if he is struggling to make an impact in Brazil his Chelsea future doesn't look too bright.
