Arsenal's new signing Sead Kolasinac will be wearing the no.31 shirt in the 2017/18 season, the club has confirmed.
Fans had been waiting to hear what the Bosnia international would be wearing after joining from Schalke, and the club appeased fans by announcing the number on the same day the Gunners'new home kit for the upcoming season was unveiled.
Kolasinac takes the number away from youngster Jeff Reine-Adelaide who was given the shirt after being promoted to the senior team in 2016.
What Arsenal fans can expect from Kolasinac
Kolasinac can serve as the natural replacement for Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs at left-wing back. Monreal at this stage of his career is more suited to the less physically demanding role as one the three central defenders in Wenger's 3-4-3 setup.
While Gibbs has failed to make any sort of lasting impression in almost a decade at the Emirates and isn't expected to play a part in Arsenal's first team plans next season.
