Man United are plotting a summer move for Atletico Madrid ace Lucas Hernandez

Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon say Jose Mourinho is desperate to splash the cash in the summer.

And one of the players on Mourinho's wish list is Atletico defender Hernandez.

The United boss is reportedly readying a summer bid for the 21-year-old centre-back.

Don Balon add that Mourinho wants to bolster his defensive ranks at Old Trafford.

Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are currently crocked.

While Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly could also face a spell on the sidelines after being forced off in United's 1-1 draw with Swansea today.
