Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of Real Madrid's clash at Deportivo La Coruna
The Portuguese superstar and his team-mate Toni Kroos have stayed in Madrid for the La Liga clash at the Estadio de Riazor, kicking off at 8:30pm UK time.
Real are already without the injured Gareth Bale and the suspended Sergio Ramos but boss Zidane has decided to rest Ronaldo and Kroos.
The French boss will now have to ring the changes against Deportivo despite Real's precarious position in the La Liga table.
Zidane's side are currently second, only behind rivals Barcelona on goal difference.
Lionel Messi scored a 92nd-minute winner to beat Los Blancos in last Sunday's thrilling El Clasico to set up what should be an exciting end to the Spanish season.
Ronaldo, who is one booking away from a domestic suspension, has been left out of three consecutive away trips.
He should return to the starting line-up when Real face Valencia at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
The 32-year-old has scored 40 goals in 43 appearances for club and country this season.
