Manchester United are lining up a £40 million move for Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak as a replacement for the Real Madrid-bound David De Gea.
Madrid have been eager to sign De Gea for a number of years and came very close to a deal in 2015 when a last minute hitch halted a move back to Spain for the goalkeeper.
But according to the Express, the Spanish giants are set to finally get their man this summer, and Jose Mourinho has already lined up a replacement for the 26-year-old.
The United boss wants to bring in Oblak from Madrid's rivals Atletico and is prepared to pay £40m to sign the Slovenian 24-year-old.
Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on Oblak but any deal the Blues looked at would be conditional on Thibaut Courtois forcing a move to Madrid, and with Real instead opting for De Gea Antonio Conte's side are out of the race.
United have regularly scouted Oblak for a number of years and are certain they can convince Atletico to part ways with the shot-stopper, with the Spanish side set to make a huge profit on the player they signed three years ago.
