Last week, the English Premier League sees Chelsea leading on the table (75 points) and Tottenham Hotspur closing the gap to four points. Liverpool defeated West Bromwich 1-0 on the road and retook the 3rd place (66 points), leaving Manchester City in the 4th position (64 points). Manchester United rank 5th place (60 points), followed by Arsenal (57 points), both with 2 games in hand. Next we would talk about some situations among the title competitors.

First of all, Chelsea are still favourites, but can Tottenham surge to the Premier League title?

The Blues conceded goals in 10 consecutive league games after losing to Manchester United 2-0 last time out. The solid back line has been an effective weapon for Chelsea on the way to the top place. They grabbed all 3 points in every game depending on consistent defensive performances. Therefore, Antonio Conte's men need to find some ways to improve their defensive line at the moment.

Tottenham, however, have already gained 7 league wins in a row. Mauricio Pochettino's men need to extend the winning streak to 13 games if they want to grab the trophy at the end.

Now both clubs have 6 games to go. According to the games left, Chelsea have a slight edge, but they have no winning credit to beat any of the following opponents after Sunday's 2-0 loss at Old Trafford Stadium. However, Pochettino's side have to face tough rivals like Arsenal and Manchester United.

No matter how, the Premier League title race now back on. And these top two will bring us a head-to-head show first at Wembley on Saturday night. Chelsea and Tottenham, who can book a ticket in the final of the FA Cup?

Secondly, can Manchester United finish top-four and quality for the Champions League?

Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera Aguera's goals helped Manchester United to claim a 2-0 victory over Chelsea at home. It's a quirk that United are on a 22-match unbeaten run in the Premier League. Now they fell only 4 points behind city rivals Manchester City. Maybe we have seen the chance for the Red Devils, but it's not easy at all for them.

According to the latest news, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s season might be over due to knee buckled in their 2-1 Europa win against Anderlecht. Marcos Rojo was also injured in that clash, which gives a huge blow to the squad.

And then, Arsenal remain in the 6th place. Is Arsene Wenger still hopeful to secure his position in the club?

Coming to this crucial stage of the Premier League, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are in a battle for the remaining tickets to UEFA Champions League. The bottom candidates Gunners put their chances of finishing top-four in a risk as the league has only 5 rounds to go.

However, in their visit to the Cellnet Riverside Stadium, Arsenal scored a narrow win (2-1) over Middlesbrough. After that, head coach Wenger rallies their hope of reaching the last four, "For us, it's still likely to finish in top-four. We knew that we have to win games to stay hopeful."

Finally, with 6 games to go, relegation candidates like Sunderland who will miss out on top-flight?

According to the relegation odds in Sky, the most possible candidates are Sunderland, followed by Middlesbrough, Swansea City and Hull City. Who can find a way to get rid of relegation-threatened?

Teams who are fighting for top four or struggling against relegation have come to a head now. Both are difficult task for them. Let's keep a close eye to their performances.
