John W Henry's presence at the Nou Camp on Sunday has sparked speculation in Barcelona.
The Liverpool owner saw Barca defeat Leganes 2-1.
And Sport says the American attended the game amid talks with Barca officials over the sale of Philippe Coutinho.
Barca chiefs are tracking the Reds midfielder and haven't been put off by his new contract penned earlier this season.
Neymar, for his part, has made it no secret he'd like his good friend to join him at Barca next season.
