Lionel Messi is pushing Barcelona to move for PSG attacker Angel di Maria.
During new contract talks, Messi has sought assurances from Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu that the team will be strengthened this summer.
Don Balon says Messi wants former Real Madrid star Di Maria alongside him next season and is convinced Barca can land him.
Indeed, it's suggested during conversations with Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli, who is expected to succeed Luis Enrique at the end of this season, the pair have discussed bringing Di Maria back to Spain.
All parties agree it will not be an easy operation, but Messi has made it clear he wants the effort made.
