Barcelona want to bring Mauricio Pochettino to Barcelona this summer
BARCELONA want Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to replace Luis Enrique this summer.
The Catalan giants are expected to axe Enrique – a decision that was taken long before last week's Champions League humiliation against Paris Saint-Germain.
And they have got their eye on Pochettino who has seen his stock rise since taking over at White Hart Lane in May 2014 after learning the management ropes at Espanyol and Southampton.
The Argentinean, 46, last May extended his contract with Tottenham until 2021 but could have the pick of any of the top jobs in European football.
He has previously laughed off suggestions of taking over at Camp Nou due to his illustrious history at their arch rivals Espanyol where he played for six-and-a-half years and was head coach for nearly four, his first job in management.
But Barca's lure would be a real temptation for the young boss.
Barcelona are currently four points behind La Liga leaders Real Madrid who also have a game in hand on their rivals.
