Several media outlets claimed the pair were coming out of retirement to play for Chapecoense.

Those reports turned out to be false.

But Gudjohnson, 38, has taken to Twitter to tell the world he would be happy to help out the club get back on its feet.

Gudjohnsen is currently without a team after leaving Norwegian side Molde in August.

There is no evidence to suggest that Ronaldinho will play for Chapecoense.

The club lost 19 players in the air disaster which 71 people died in total.

The airline LaMia involved in the tragedy has been suspended from flying after shocking details emerged about the crash.

Bolivian Civil Aviation Authority suspended permission for LaMia airline to operate on Thursday afternoon, after data revealed that the plane had run over its four-hour fuel capacity by 20 minutes.

The Brazilian club have been awarded the Copa Sudamericana title at the request of their opponents Atletico Nacional.

For winning the title, Chapecoense will receive £1.6million.

It comes after the final moments of the co-pilot killed in the crash were caught in an interview she gave before she took off.
