Man Utd’s Ander Herrera takes on Arsenal star in shoot

Ander Herrera came up against Mesut Ozil as part of a promotional shoot for adidas this week.

The Manchester United midfielder was part of the event to promote the sportswear manufacturer’s latest brand of boots, along with his Arsenal counterpart.

Herrera uploaded the series of photos above onto his Instagram account on Friday night and wrote: “Great day, thanks to my friends from @adidasfootball @adidas_es”

Herrera also played a game of five-a-side with the likes of Zinedine Zidane.

The Spanish playmaker was in good form for the Red Devils following his summer move to Old Trafford from Athletic Bilbao, scoring six goals and making four assists for Louis van Gaal’s men to help them secure a top-four finish and qualification for next season’s Champions League.

The 25-year-old midfielder last month admitted that he misses his native homeland and is looking forward to recharging his batteries with friends and family as he bids to enjoy a successful second campaign at Old Trafford.

The midfielder returned to his native Spain this week after impressing during his first campaign in the Premier League with the Red Devils.
