Steven Gerrard and his daughters
Steven Gerrard has experienced a mixed final 12 months of his Liverpool career, so the Reds captain presumably steered clear of any black comedies when he took his daughters to the cinema on Friday.
The Reds captain appeared to be heading for a fairytale season as Liverpool stormed to the top of the Premier League table in the closing months of last season.
However, Gerrard's famous slip against Chelsea allowed Demba Ba to hand the momentum to Manchester City, who went on to secure a second Premier League title.
The 34-year-old could return to the side for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final after serving his three-game ban for his red card inside a minute of his half-time introduction in a 2-1 defeat by Manchester United last month.
Perhaps in a bid to take his mind of the Wembley clash, Gerrard took his daughters - Lily-Ella, Lexie and Lourdes - to the pictures to see Disney classic, Cinderella.
Gerrard posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: "Cinema with my girls #cinderella snooze on the cards here"
The Liverpool skipper could still end his career on a high if the Reds beat Aston Villa and reach the FA Cup final which lands on Gerrard's 35th birthday on 30 May.
The former England midfielder is set to join Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy at the end of the season.
