LOUIS VAN GAAL says his Manchester United team are not playing well despite notching their second win in a row against Everton.
WE'VE GOT TO IMPROVE: Van Gaal wants more from his side
Goals from Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao, along with a stunning display from goalkeeper David de Gee, ensured United followed their up their 2-1 win over West Ham with victory over the Toffees.
And despite moving into the top four for the first time this season, Van Gaal insists there is more to come from his developing side.
Speaking after the game, the Dutch boss revealed we told his players: "We are not playing well but we are fourth in the table – so what will happen when we do play well?"
He added: "We have played very good for 45 minutes, and sometimes 50 or 60, but we have to do it for 90 minutes.
"But that needs time. I'm sorry to say it again.
"But you have seen it today."
Van Gaal will fancy his side's chances of extending their winning run when they travel to West Brom after the international break.
A tougher test follows the week after, however, when United host leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before a clash with rivals City.
