Louis Van Gaal and Manchester United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Juan Cuadrado as the midfielder becomes frustrated with lengthy contract negotiations.
IRKED: Juan Cuadrado is reportedly unhappy with the progress of his contrct talks
Fiorentina began talks to offer the Colombian a new deal earlier this week to keep their star man but according to reports Cuadrado is unhappy with how the deal is progressing.
The sticking point is apparently salary with the club only willing to offer a maximum of £50,000-a-week and the player's representatives holding out for £70,000-a-week with added bonuses, a deal that la Viola are reluctant to sanction.
The contract wrangling gives Louis van Gaal and Manchester United an opportunity to tempt the winger to the Premier League.
Manchester United have had a calamitous start to their Premier League campaign and are prepared to spend big in the next transfer window to turn things around with Cuadrado a prime target.
