Manchester United are up to fourth in the Premier League after a nervy 2-1 victory over Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday lunchtime.

Radamel Falcao’s first goal for United earned Louis van Gaal’s side the win, but the real hero for the hosts was goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spaniard kept out Leighton Baines’ first-half penalty and then made two stunning saves late on to deny the Toffees a point.

United supporters and former players duly took to Twitter to hail De Gea’s performance, with Red Devils legend Peter Schmeichel among those dishing out the praise…
