Stenhousemuir 1 : 0 Stranraer - Gemmell goal gifts Warriors game

John Gemmell scored the only goal of the match as Stenhousemuir beat Stranraer 1-0.
The visitors started brightly and almost went ahead in the second minute when Sean Winter let fly from the centre of the box, only to see his effort crash against the post.
But it was Stenhousemuir who seized the initiative in the 31st minute when Gemmell prodded the ball past Blues stopper David Mitchell from the centre of the box.
The visitors pushed for a leveller before half-time, but they could not find a way past Chris Smith in the Stenhousemuir goal and it remained 1-0 at the break.
The hosts made a strong start to the second period and had a few chances to extend their lead, but it ended 1-0.
