Pakistan players trained at The Oval in London on Tuesday (9th August), a couple of days before the fourth Test against England.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mickey Arthur, head coach of the Pakistan Cricket team:
(On what the feeling is like within the camp after losing the third Test match):"
I do think we competed exceptionally well, certainly through three-and-a-half days at Edgbaston. (I was) really happy with our all-round performance, particularly with the bat. We got some partnerships going, which were fantastic. (In the) second innings, England got through us. It was an impressive spell of quick bowling [...] There was a lot of good things for us out of that Test match. I certainly did not feel we ever rolled over, there."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mickey Arthur, head coach of the Pakistan Cricket team:
(On bringing in a fifth bowler to the side):
"It's certainly one of the options, but whichever bowler comes in, we can throw it up in the air, somebody has got to bat at seven, which makes it a particularly long tail. That's a very positive way to go. We're discussing every option."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mickey Arthur, head coach of the Pakistan Cricket team:
(On how England have played Pakistann's leg spinner Yasir Shah):
"England have played the leg-spinner really well, but we have to remember he's been used in a defensive role [...] I'm hoping we can get runs on the board here, it turns a bit here and there's a bit of bounce - bounce is a leg spinner's best friend. And by the way, apart from that first day at Old Trafford, I thought he's bowled extremely well in both roles - attacking and defending."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Mickey Arthur, head coach of the Pakistan Cricket team:
(On rumours in Pakistan showing an England player tampering with the ball in the last Test match):
"There's a match referee, who will, if there is anything of concern, if he looks at any footage, I'm pretty sure he would deal with it. It's not up to us as a cricket team to be accusing anybody of doing anything. That's why you've got match referees and umpires. There's been no mention in our camp around that. That's all I can say."
