Zimbabwe cricket fans took part in a protest against the government during the second Test against New Zealand in Bulawayo on Saturday (6th August) - at the close of day one, New Zealand were 329 for the loss of two wickets at stumps - with Tom Latham hitting 136 and Kane Williamson 95 not out.

Zimbabwean cricket fans staged protests during their Test match with New Zealand in Bulawayo on Saturday (6th August).

The protests were organised as part of the #thisflag campaign, which is responsible for a number of demonstrations against the Zimbabwean government.

Fans stood and sung the national anthem in the 36th over - chosen because it's the country's 36th year of independence.

It's also 36 years since Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe came to power.

On the field New Zealand were 329 for the loss of two wickets at stumps.
