Hassen Chaktami and Bilel M'hamdi, Tunisia's two boxing representatives at Rio 2016, say they are not put off by the turmoil within their boxing federation on home soil during their preparation for the Olympics, and are both determined to reach the podium as they spoke on Saturday at the Athletes' Village.

There were some problems to do with the technical staff and the federation, They changed the head of federation and then we had new technical staff. The previous coaching staff were not of high quality, but now we have good coaches. They are working very hard and want to take boxing to where it should be. The new technical staff has been in place for six months but they have done a great job qualifying two of us. Although it could have been more."

"I am really happy to have made it to the Olympics, I have tried before many times but I was unIucky to lose. In fact I did not lose - they plotted against me.
