"I was confident before (about) going there (to Rio) but I don't think that I could have run a better race for my last race (before the Olympics). Breaking the British record and a win in a Diamond League race so there is nothing better that I could have done to boost my confidence there.SOUNDBITE: (English) Renaud Lavillenie, winner of the pole vault
"Yes every time I am happy to be back in this stadium and today is really great, four years later from the Olympic title and to be able to win again, make a very good competition with 5.90. So it's great to finish my last preparations in an Olympic stadium and now I think I'm all ready for the next one so that's a pretty good thing."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Jimmy Vicault, winner 100 metres"I feel good. I won. Last year I finished fifth and now there are two weeks before Rio and I'm prepared"
SOUNDBITE: (English) Usain Bolt, winner 200 metres
"Well I'm tired but I'm also happy. The execution (of the race) was good. I was proud of myself and that's it."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Usain Bolt
(on the pressure of trying to do the double defence of all 3 Olympic titles) "I live for this. I like competition. I like people doubting me. I like the energy so I'm looking forward to going to Rio and defending my titles."

(on potential ban for Russian athletes) "As I said in my press conference, it's rough for the whole country to be banned but if that is what they have to do to make a statement, sometimes people say the good have to suffer for the bad sometimes so it's just one of those things
