Reaction from Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy and Angelo Mathews to England's series-clinching six-wicket win against Sri Lanka at the Oval on Wednesday.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Jason Roy, England batsman:
"Yeah my home ground, I have got a few people in to watch as well, which was hugely special. But credit to the boys in the dressing-room, they allow me to go out there and enjoy myself, play the way I want to play. I've got no worries about getting out in the first over, or whatever, because I know the boys are backing me. It's an incredible dressing room to be a part of at the moment."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Eoin Morgan, England captain:
"I mean I suppose part and parcel of being a successful international player is making form count and Jason epitomises that today and he probably showed the experience of a player way beyond his years. A lot of guys might have got 80 or 90 or even a 100 and then got out, to go and get 167 (actually 162) and make a substantial match winning contribution was outstanding. I think the thing about the manner in which Jason plays and the manner in which our batting unit plays is that we do take risks, but we're actually minimizing risk by training really hard and actually bridging the gap between taking risk and failure, and I suppose we have enough fire power to do that. And again, today's innings by Jason reinforced his confidence within the batting unit."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Jason Roy, England batsman:
(on Robin Smith's England ODI record of 167)
"Yeah 100 per cent someone could break that. I think we have seen at Edgbaston, we've seen it here today, there was obviously a great pitch out there, tough to defend and credit to the Sri Lankans. They did bat very well on a very good wicket and fast outfield and it was just a remarkable evening."
