On Wednesday (4 May) Mexico's Canelo Alvarez and England's Amir Khan took part in their final press conference ahead of their bout on Saturday (7 May) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"You never know, this could be the last fight for me and Canelo here. That's if Donald Trump becomes president so ... You never know so we have to, you have to all tune in come Saturday."

"My trainer Virgil Hunter, you know, has always been there for me on good days and bad days, you know, in the gym - always pushing me and motivating me and making me train very hard. You know there comes some days where your body's tired but Virgil always gets the best out of me and come this fight on May 7th on Saturday, you're going to see the best out of Amir Khan. Canelo is a tough guy, he's stron gbut you know we're going to be ready for whatever he brings to the table, that's the reason I chose this fight, cause I really do believe I can win this fight. He's a great champion, he's a credit to boxing but it's my time, this is and I'm gonna, you know, I'm gonna grab it with both hands. It's been my dream to hold a big fight like this in Vegas and I'm not going to let it go."
