Williams drivers Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas talked about the new F1 season and their new car in Pessione, Italy on Wednesday (9 March).
SOUNDBITE (English) Felipe Massa, Williams driver:
"We are working really hard to improve the car in the more slow corners. That was something that we were struggling with a little last year. We really want to get close to Mercedes and Ferrari and having a better championship. We have had a very good two championships - 2014 and 2015. I really hope 2016 will be our best championship and get back to the victories and the fight with these teams and I trust in the teams that I can do."
SOUNDBITE (English) Valtteri Bottas, Williams driver:
"Well, in 2016 there are some small new things with the tyres and the regulations. We are allowed to chose in a little bit more detail what tyres we use during the race weekend. Technically the car hasn't changed a lot. They are a little bit better with the engine sound which is good. Our new car in the testing - it felt nice. We've made progress in the weaknesses we've had with the old car. We are going forward all the time and I am expecting the season to be more competitive than it was last year."
SOUNDBITE (English) Felipe Massa, Williams driver:
"We finished third in the last two years. We want to finish at least second. We will try everything we can. We know it is not easy. It is difficult. The other teams are working hard as well. Third is already a great result with us. But we are looking forward to getting better and being able to fight for better results."
