SOUNDBITE: (English) Wladimir Klitschko, Reigning WBA, WBO + IBF heavyweight world champion (on his fitness after his bout with Tyson Fury was postponed following a calf injury suffered in training):
"I get clearance from the doctor, I'm still in rehabilitation, of the injury, and from next Monday I'm back in training camp, which makes me feel happy.
"Absolutely, he's a clown. It's not a bad thing to say about a person because to be a clown you make, you have to make other people laugh. To be funny is kind of difficult, but to be funny doesn't mean act stupid. So there's a lot of, edge from being stupid and being funny and clown is actually a compliment because I have a lot of friends, and they are world-famous clowns."
Q: "I don't think Tyson took it as a compliment. Do you think he's trying to get in your head a bit? I mean no-one has done that so far. Do you think, is that what he's trying to do?"
"In my head, under my skin, or whatever the sayings are.... I've been around for a long time and, I don't play games. This is the sport, this is my bread. This is what I know and.... at the end of the day we're going to stand in the ring, and it's going to be the line: 'welcome to big time boxing.' It has nothing to do with being a clown or talking a lot or whatever Tyson Fury think(s) about mental games before or after. So, in the ring, that's the truth going to come up.
"It was a lesson for David Haye, for Kubrat Pulev and it's going to be a lesson for Tyson Fury as well. There's always a price.... for things that you're going to say or going to do. There is always a price. None, or nobody, got out of it. And it's the rule of life."
