The men's 400m final ran at blistering pace, Wayde van Niekerk becoming the 4th fastest man in history over 400m winning in 43.48 seconds.
But the gold medallist collapsed after the race and was taken to hospital with reports of exhaustion.
In the men's javelin, Julius Yego with a throw of 92.72 metres - complete with breakdance dive! It's Kenya's first ever field gold medal at the World Championships.
Czech Republics's Zuzana Hejnova successfully defended her title in the women's 400 metres hurdles final, gliding through the finish line in 53.50 seconds, GB's Eilidh Child finished a disappointing 6th.
Hyvin Jepkemoi continued the Kenyan gold rush, making this late break to win the women's 3,000 metres steeplechase final in nine minutes, 19.11 seconds.
In the women's pole vault final, Cuba's Yarisley Silva left it late to clinch gold, clearing 4.90 metres.
And Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin set up the sequel to their sprint showdown in the men's 200 metres semi-finals. Anguilla-born Briton Zarnel Hughes will be there too, after winning the first semi in 20.14 seconds.
Gatlin ran the fastest qualiying time of 19.87 seconds, easing up early, but not as early as Bolt - who clocked 19.95 seconds, keeping him on course for a third 100/200 metres World Championships double.
