SOUNDBITE: (English) David Rudisha, Men's 800 metres winner:
"You know you are coming to this championships to race, there is nothing that is guaranteed. You know we have the best athletes here. When I was coming here I know I was not the favourite. There was some two, three, four guys they are really good. Not the world leading, I don't have the world leading time. I have been beaten in the a few races before I came back here. But I leant that I have a problem with my finishing speed. And that is what I have been working on. When I got it I knew I have a better chance of coming here and win the title."
SOUNDBITE: (English) David Rudisha, Men's 800 metres winner (on the Bird's Nest):
"It is really fantastic, you know, I have never been in such a amazing stadium before. It is really great. To be back here and to display such a tremendous tactical race and to win right from the front and back, it just gives me a lot of confidence."
SOUNDBITE: (English) David Rudisha, Men's 800 metres winner (on possible race against Usain Bolt):
"There was always been a lot of demand from the fans. Maybe one day I will meet with Usain Bolt and have a competition together. But it is still tough to get us together. If I was running 200 metres maybe it could not be easy I can not join one of these races he is in. If he is also running 800 we could have meet several times. To find the race that we can be together is a bit challenge"
