SOUNDBITE: (English) Nicola Adams, Team GB (on winning gold at London 2012):
"Just so many memories: being on the podium, hearing the national anthem. Just reminiscing that I have made history. It was an amazing time and it is just hard to put it into words, still - how I was feeling that day."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Nicola Adams, Team GB (on being Team GB's flag bearer at Baku for European Games):
"My mum is absolutely overwhelmed with joy. She is so proud of me. She keeps messaging me and ringing me and saying how proud she is so I know I have made everybody - all my friends and family back home really really happy and I am honoured myself and it's an amazing opportunity and it is a once in a lifetime thing you know. Not everybody gets the opportunity to lead the whole of Team GB into the stadium for the opening ceremony so I am really honoured and excited."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Nicola Adams, Team GB:
"Oh yeah, I am really confident and it is the best I have ever been I think since 2012. Last year I had the shoulder operation and I had the shoulder injuries and this year I am feeling really good, fit, strong. I am ready to go."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Joe Joyce, Team GB (on the European Games being useful preparation for possible participation at Rio 2016):
"Yeah, obviously I picked up useful experience at the Commonwealth Games and this is something similar so the next one will be the big one."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Anthony Fowler, Team GB:
"Yeah definitely. It is similar to the Commonwealth Games in the aspect that it is a multi-sport event and it has got a village and stuff like that so it is like a small Olympics in my eyes. It is very important and the competition is going to be high so I am well prepared for it."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Anthony Fowler, Team GB:
"Everything is great to be honest with you. I have trained very hard. I have been training three times a day. I competed two weeks ago in Lithuania - I had three fights and won all three. Won a gold medal and had a good tournament so my form is good, everything is going well and I am very confident."
