Sebastian Vettel, Formula One driver laid, on Thursday, the first stone of what will become Europe's first Ferrari theme park in 2016.

"Obviously it is very nice to see, you know, that it is going to the right direction and since I've joined people have been very nice and welcomed me in a very nice way. And it has been very exciting. So for me, in many ways, it is a dream come true, it was the team I was looking up to when I was a small child, obviously with Michael (Schumacher) racing, so its nice to be a part of that and it's nicer to see that the team is progressing."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari driver:

"Well, I think that we have had a very strong start of the season. Of course you have to keep your feet on the ground, we know we still have a long, long way to catch up but we should have, maybe a little bit better chance this weekend. We have new parts and hopefully we can make a step forward but always it depends on what other people are doing and the gap to the front is still very big, but we are fighting very hard and we are trying everything and very soon we'll be a fair match."

"Yes I think so, I think is very exciting, obviously the park, as I understand will be right here, the FerrariLand, and obviously there's all the rest of the park which is great I think, if you are a fan of theme parks I think is the right thing, and obviously the area here should be something very special, the brand of Ferrari in the right light. So looking forward to come back when the park, this park specially, is open."
