Floyd Mayweather greets his fans at the MGM Grand Hotel's official ceremony while Manny Pacquiao hosts a public rally at his Las Vegas hotel before their super-fight on Saturday night (UTC).

It's been billed as the fight of the century. When Floyd 'Money' Mayweather steps into the ring with Manny Pacquiao on Sunday one thing's for sure: it'll certainly be the richest.

The pair are set to split nearly £200m and just under £650,000 is expected to be gambled in Las Vegas on the outcome but Mayweather played down its significance:

"Just, you know I have a great, great, great supporting cast. You know, not just Mayweather Promotions but the Money Team. You know, everybody that's in this arena is the Money Team. I mean, it's really not all about just making money, it's about giving back, you know, and we always trying to make a difference. You know, we don't just … we make a lot of, of course I make a lot of money but I also like to give back to the American citizen, of course, first."

While Las Vegas resident Mayweather greeted his fans in typically flamboyant fashion at the MGM Grand Hotel's official ceremony, the Pac Man hosted a public rally at a Nevada hotel.

His fellow Filipinos were in high spirits and the southpaw is confident he'll be dancing after Sunday's fight:

"This is what I feel right now is my confidence is different from the other fight that I had. I mean, I have no nerves but I feel excited. This is it -- I have to prove something that every time I am the underdog, I like that because my killer instinct, my focus is there. This is what I want."

They're generally regarded as the two best fighters of their generation but in the centre of the gambling universe it's Mayweather who's the bookies' favourite.
