On Floyd Mayweather, Jr. negotiations with Manny Pacquiao:

"Well, I hope sooner than latter, because I know that May 2nd date is the best 'Pay Per View' month out there because there's less competition and so forth. I would like for it to happen sooner than later. I would like to get Manny and camp right now and go."
Reporter: "If it doesn't happen, there will be a lot of disappointed fans. Do you think it could have any detrimental effect to the sport?"
Roach: "Well, I though that when they first talked about it, and as time went on, I thought they were ruining the fight by not making it happen. And it is so close right now. It seems so close. It seems so big right now, that if it doesn't happen now, I'm going to quit thinking about it."

SOUNDBITE (English) Bob Arum, Promoter:

"Well, you know, as I've told everybody, 'I know nothing.' That's not very far from the truth. So I'm hopeful like everybody else that it is going to happen."
