Amir Khan and Devon Alexander weighed in on Friday (12th December) a day before their 12-round welterweight bout for the WBA International Welterweight and WBC Silver Welterweight titles in Las Vegas, USA.

Amir Khan will step back into the ring on Saturday, to defend his WBA International Welterweight and WBC Silver Welterweight titles against Devon Alexander.

The two both made the 147-pound catchweight on Friday, coming in at the limit.

Bolton-born Khan has a 29-3 record with 19 knockouts.

Q: Alright, do you think - with a win, you've been down this road before - that Floyd Mayweather will choose you as his next opponent if you're victorious?

"Well you know I'm not looking past this fight, you know I'm focused on Devon. I'm going to beat Devon in good fashion, good style and just see what happens and what comes off that good win.

Alexander is 26-2 with 14 knockouts.

The 27-year-old American lost his IBF Welterweight title last December so he's looking to bounce back.

In the co-main event on Saturday, undefeated Keith Thurman will defend his interim WBA Welterweight World Title against Leonard Bundu.

Thurman wants a shot at Mayweather next.
