Cristiano Ronaldo substituted due to injury against Serbia

Cristiano Ronaldo sprinted to save a ball that was about to go out of play before clutching the back of his right leg during Portugal's 2020 European Championship qualifier against Serbia.
Immediately, the 34-year-old grabbed his hamstring, threw himself to the ground, took off the captain's armband and asked to be substituted, 28 minutes into the match. Pizzi came on in his place.
It should be noted that Juventus face Ajax in the Champions League quarter-finals in 16 days' time, with the first leg taking place in Amsterdam on April 10 before the return fixture in Turin on April 16.
Since the 2015/16 campaign, Ronaldo has not suffered a muscular injury.
"I'm not worried," Ronaldo said after the game as he reassured Juventus supporters.
"I know my body and I know that I'll be fine within two weeks."
